A wide range of papers and substrates are available. For example, on the left, a direct print on a rigid Brushed Aluminum panel. On the right, a Satin RC photo print mounted on 1mm Aluminum.

Choice of Substrate

A wide choice of papers and substrates is offered to enhance your image in a Floater Frame: silver halide photo print, pigment inkjet print (1), or now direct printing on a rigid substrate (2).
From traditional silver-digital papers to a wide range of smooth, textured, Japanese, Fine Art, or Baryta papers, we mount the paper of your choice on a 1mm Aluminum sheet.
The latest direct printing technology in photographic quality also allows your image to be printed directly on a rigid substrate such as Dibond, with a smooth white surface or a brushed gray aluminum surface for a particularly original effect.

Production

We mount your photo print on a 1mm-thick aluminum sheet and frame it with a custom-made wooden Floater Frame.
The Custom Floater Frame shows, from the front, a visible 1cm gap between the edge of the print and the inner edge of the frame.

All materials used in this framing ensure optimal preservation of your print.
The wood comes from a PEFC-certified source (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification), guaranteeing responsible and sustainable forest management worldwide.
This frame is reversible and adaptable.

Colors

Black and White are painted wood, while Wenge and Light Oak are genuine wood veneers bonded to the wooden frame.

Frame Profile Dimensions

For Black or White Floater Frames in 8/40, the front width is 8 mm with a depth of 40 mm.

For Wenge and Light Oak woods, the front width is 10 mm with a depth of 40 mm.

Slimmer frame profiles in Black, White, Wenge, and Light Oak are also available in 5/35 if you prefer to minimize the visible profile width. The front width is 5 mm with a depth of 35 mm.

All our Floater Frame profiles are in "L" style.

Maximum Size

The maximum size for a mounted print is 140 x 200 cm.

Hanging Systems

A secure hanging system is fixed to the back, allowing safe wall mounting:

- a highly resistant metal cable for small and medium formats

- a beveled wooden rail for medium and large formats, integrated into the frame, ensuring secure hanging. It guarantees long-term resistance to deformation.
