To show off your photographic prints to their best advantage!

When it comes to displaying your photographic work, you can opt for laminating, a subtle and discreet alternative to framing. To showcase your image and the quality of your print, laminating allows you to display your images on walls using a specially adapted hanging system. Once your print has been made, in digital silver or inkjet, the teams at the PICTO laboratory will laminate it onto a support that you will have chosen beforehand according to your use.

You will have a choice of four rigid substrates for your laminate: Alu, Dibond, PVC and Featherboard.

The laminated finish on Alu is light and elegant. With a thickness of just one millimetre, this high-quality aluminium sheet gives a fine finish that's ideal for showcasing your print.
This service is ideal for medium-format prints no larger than 50x70cm for permanent display.

Laminating on Dibond ensures great resistance and strength. Dibond is an assembly of a black polyethylene sheet surrounded by two aluminium sheets, with a choice of two thicknesses: two or three millimetres.
This product is ideal for all uses and formats, but if the print size is greater than 80 x 120 cm, it's best to opt for 3mm dibond.

Rigid PVC is a solid, economical solution for one-off laminations.
It comes in five thicknesses, from 1 to 5 mm, then 10 mm. For longer-term use, choose Alu or Dibond.

Finally, you can choose to laminate on 10 mm thick Featherboard, which is extremely flat. This economical, lightweight and M1-rated (non-flammable) material is ideal for large formats and occasional use.
You can choose the easel for mounting the print rather than a wall mount.

To finish your laminations, you can choose from a range of hanging methods, from simple metal clips for one- or two-point fixing depending on the format, to frames and hanging bars. For lightweight materials, the use of adhesive Velcro is particularly practical.
